Understand one idea at a time
Start with a short explanation and an example. Predict what the program does before changing it. A correct answer is a chance to explain the reasoning, not a reason to rush to the next topic.
Try, get a hint, then explain
The public discovery exercises check your predicted output. Reveal one hint at a time and read the correction when you need it. In the main courses, lessons combine reading, quizzes, code and debugging according to the exercise.
Build something you can keep
The public to-do list project connects arrays, functions and browser interactions. It includes the complete source. MAX projects extend this approach with cumulative stages, tests and saved work.
What the checks can establish
A reading exercise verifies the expected answer. A code evaluation checks specified examples and edge cases. Passing is useful feedback, but does not prove that a program has no bugs or is ready for production.

The public JavaScript and Python discoveries and the to-do guide need no account. An account saves your progress in the courses; their first 10 exercises are free. Continued access and advanced features depend on the selected plan.
